Aerial Silk
TEACHER: MIM WHEELER
BEG/IMPROVER SILK
Suitable for those complete beginners or those with some experience. Improvers are those who are able to climb with some knowledge of basic tricks. All participants must be able to invert (lift themselves upside-down) and be comfortable holding their own weight.
The sessions will focus on basic and root positions to extend vocabulary and build confidence on the silk.
SKILLED SILK
This session is suitable for those with a good amount of silk experience but don't yet consider themselves advanced. You should be able to climb and invert confidently and repeatedly as well as be familiar with a variety of wraps, tricks and drops. (catchers, hip lock, mobile, torniquet, front and back balance, footlocks, s-wrap etc).
The sessions will be jam packed with plenty of quirky sequences to get you flowing nicely.
SKILLED/ADVANCED SILK
Suitable for those with extensive silk experience who want to get their dynamics flying and work those release moves, roll ups and some serious strength stuff.
Advanced silks students should be confidant with straddle beats, long arm straddle ups & inversions.
