Katerina Ana
Aerial Hoop
Katerina Anastopoulou is a circus artist specialising in aerial disciplines, with a passion for dynamic movement, expressive flow and storytelling. She started her aerial journey in Athens in 2012 and moved to London in 2018 to train at the National Centre for Circus Arts, graduating in 2021 with a BA (Hons).
Drawn to the power and fluidity in the air, during her studies Katerina chose Aerial Straps as her main discipline. This shaped her broader practice, which now includes aerial hoop, hair hanging, and verticals, all explored through a rhythmic and dynamic style. Since graduating, she has performed across the UK and internationally, and in 2024 she trained in Montreal with renowned coaches Victor Fomine and William Bonnet to deepen her skills.
Alongside performing, Katerina loves sharing her knowledge and passion for circus. She teaches classes and workshops in London and abroad.
