Warming Up & Down

There are three different warm ups and two warm downs for you to choose from when you book. All participants (whether you book for 1 day or 5days) get to choose their warm up & down. 

 

YOGA WARM UP: Anna Fooks

This 1 hour yoga class will provide you with a dynamic sequence that both opens and strengthens the body. The perfect marriage of tempo and movement will awaken your body, the nervous system and feed it the precious prana it craves while promoting a spirit of change and freedom in your practice. This is a disability accessible class. 

GET MOBILE WARM UP: Mim Wheeler

A warm up to inspire and invigorate you for the day ahead. Starting with aerobic movements to get the blood circulating and those muscles warmed, we will then take the body through it's range of motion, mobilising the joints, activating the muscles with some strengthening and finish with some active flexibility. After this, you'll be ready for anything! This class is accessible to the deaf and visually impaired.

 

STRETCH & FLEX WARM UP: Liz Wickham

Fancy a good stretch out before your session? A gentler warm up that gets the body moving, joints warm and muscles lengthened. If you enjoy a bit of flex before you start then this is a lovely way to wake up the body for the day ahead with a little bit of acrobatics thrown in for good measure.  This class is accessible to the deaf and visually impaired. 

 

INTENSIVE STRETCH WARM DOWN: Anna Fooks

Suitable for all levels. We will cover the whole body using a range of stretch techniques such as, active, passive, PNF, nerve mobilisation and balancing. You will be able and encouraged to adapt positions and sequences to suit your body. Stretches will be held for lengths of time between a few seconds up to about a 1min max. It will be fun, and, leave you feeling relaxed having stretched in a positive and productive way with no brute force!  

SHOULDER FOCUS WARM DOWN: Fabio Pinna

Suitable for all levels. Those shoulders take a good pounding in any circus discipline, especially when you've just done a full day. This session gets into all the parts of the arms, shoulders and upper back to really give you a shoulder focused stretch out.
